How to Get Involved With the Braver Angels of New York
1. Learn about the movement
Braver Angels' mission is to bring Americans together to bridge the partisan divide and strengthen our democratic republic. To get started, learn about the guiding principles we use to take proven steps towards depolarization here.
2. Become a member of Braver Angels
You’ll be supporting America’s largest and fastest-growing organization bringing Americans together to understand our differences, find common ground where it exists, and work together to help the land we love. You’ll receive our newsletter, get invited to online member meetings where we discuss issues facing the country and chart the direction of the organization, be eligible to attend our annual convention, and have regular opportunities for skills training and leadership development. You’ll be a more effective citizen. You’ll be the solution.
With just a one-time donation of $12 you will receive a one-year membership. Join us now.
3. Attend a new member orientation
The New York Alliances are led by our wonderful state coordinators Berivan Tamsen and Randy Freeman. Please reach out to them at ny-coordinators@braverangels.org to introduce yourself, and they will get you signed up for an upcoming New York state new member orientation!
4. Connect with your local alliance leaders
Find your local New York state alliance, and contact the co-leaders to get connected to the Braver Angels community near you and learn about upcoming events. You can also learn more about what we do (at both the national and state level!), and browse upcoming events in New York state.
